Paljon juttua! - A lot of stuff!

Viimeisestä päivityksestä on kulunut aikaa jo melkein 1,5 vuotta. Parempi jatkaa myöhemmin kuin ei koskaan!

It's been almost 1,5 years since the last update. Better to continue late than never!

Snörestä on kasvanut valpas ja ihastuttava teini-ikäinen. Ikää hänellä on nyt jo 1v 7kk. Snörestä ei tullutkaan näyttelykoiraa, mutta olemme käyneet sen sijaan koirakoulussa ja opetelleet erilaisia arkitottelevaisuusasioita.

Snöre has grown into a alert and delightful teenager. He is 1 year and 7 months old now. Snöre didn't become a showdog after all but instead of show business we have been at doggy school practicing different types of daily obedience stuff.

Eläinlääkäri on myös tullut tutuksi pienelle prinssillemme, kun olemme tutkineet ja hoitaneet erilaisia vaivoja ja kutinoita. Lääkärikäynneillä on mm. hoidettu purentaa, tehty kastraatio ja selvitetty kutinoiden aiheuttajaa.

Our little prince has become familiar with the vet, as we have been researching and nursing different ailments and itches. Veterinarian has (among other things) been treating his occlusion, performed castration and examined the cause of pruritus.

Snöre kävi hieman alle vuoden ikäisenä eläinten koulukuvauksessa!

Syksyllä meille avautui mahdollisuus antaa koti toiselle Bedlingtonille. Suloinen alle puolivuotias narttu etsi vielä omaa kotiaan vänäläisellä kasvattajalla Elena Pykhtarilla. Päätös oli nopea vaikka ajatus oli kytenyt jo pitkään mielessä. Uusi perheenjäsen saapui meille Venäjältä Helsingin kautta 11.9.2014. Iloinen pieni prinsessa alkaa jo totella nimeä Doris. Kiitos Maijalle ja Suville koiran kuljettamisesta ja väliaikaismajoituksesta!

An opportunity to give a home to another Bedlington opened in this fall. Cute under half-year-old bitch was looking her own forever home at Elena Pykhtar's kennel L'End Show. The decision was made fast even though the thought had been simmering in our minds for a long time. The new family member arrived to our home from Russia via Helsinki 11.9.2014. The cheerful little princess is starting to understand her new name Doris. Thank you Maija and Suvi for the transportation of the dog and temporary accommodation also!

Doris kotiutui meille helposti ja myös Snöre otti uuden tulokkaan hyvin vastaan. Koirat tykkäävät toistensa seurasta ja leikkivät paljon yhdessä. Yksi suosituimmista leikeistä on sukanveto!

Doris have settled down easily and Snöre has accepted the new arrival well also. The dogs love each others company and they play a lot together. One of the most popular games is the sock pull!

Kohta on aika ryhtyä harjoittelemaan Doriksen kanssa näyttelyitä varten ja molemmat koirat pääsevät myös koirakouluun. On niin paljon opittavaa!

It's time to start practicing soon for the shows with Doris and both dog get to go to the doggie school too. There's so much to learn!
